Awesome Deal

In spreading the word about the property in Brasil that we are raising funds for, we have also been letting people know that we plan to have a new/used clothing store on the property to help generate funds to help with the maintenance and projects. Since beginning to spread the word, mainly at churches, we have received quite a few donations. One lady, who's 50 year old husband passed away, gave us all of his clothes. He was really athletic and she knew that the clothes were meant for our ministry since part of our outreach is through a sports ministry. Anyway, we went to Walmart and noticed that there were many many clothes on clearance for $1, $2, $3, and $5. We were thrilled and started putting a few things into the cart. A few things grew into a little more when we saw what such good deals the clothes were. But the real deal was at the check-out. As the gal was ringing us up, she said, "Now, you know that today is the last day for the special on clearance items right?" We stared at her a little blankly, "What special?" She replied, "It's half off all of the clearance items." WOW--That meant all of the stuff that we just got at a great deal, we just got half off of that!! So we bought nice polo shirts for $2.50, reversable shorts for $1.50, other shorts for $.50.....it was such a great deal that we just had to share it. Thank you Lord!! (In all we spent $100 and the original price for the clothing would have been $467.00)
